Why We Started Aniva
Small businesses are the backbone of American communities. They employ neighbors, serve local families, and carry the life's work of the people who built them. Yet when it comes time to transition ownership, too many of those businesses are sold to buyers who strip them for parts — or simply let them fade.
We started Aniva Capital Holdings because we believe there's a better way. We acquire businesses with the intention of operating them for the long term — protecting the culture, retaining the teams, and building on the foundation the original owner created.
Our name, Aniva, reflects our commitment to navigation and direction — always knowing where we're going, and why.

Mark brings a deep background in accounting, operations, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. His career has been defined by building operational clarity in complex environments — and by leading teams with humor, directness, and genuine care.
As Managing Partner, Mark oversees acquisitions, integration, and the day-to-day stewardship of portfolio companies. He believes that great businesses are built on great people, and that the role of leadership is to remove obstacles, not create them.
Mark's philosophy is simple: do the right thing, communicate clearly, and build something worth being proud of.
